Rules moves of the pieces in Chinese Chess:

  • Chess: Each move moves 1 square, either horizontally or vertically. The champion is always in range. The "bow" consists of 4 small squares crossed with diagonal lines.
  • Si: Diagonal, 1 square for each move. Si is always in the same "Gong" as a General.
  • Bishop: Diagonal 2 squares for each move, horizontal or vertical. The statue is not allowed to cross the river to the opponent's chess board. The move of the Statue is not valid when there is a block in the middle of the road.
  • Xe: Move horizontally or along the board as long as there are no other pieces in the way.
  • Code: Traverse 2 squares and move along one square (or move two squares and one square across) for each move. If there is another piece next to the rook and blocking horizontal 2 or vertical 2, the rooster cannot go that way.
  • Cannon: Move sideways or vertically like a rook. Another point is that when the Cannon wants to take the opponent's piece, there must be a block between the Cannon and the piece that wants to eat it.
  • Good: Go 1 cell each. If the pawn has not crossed the river, he can only go straight ahead. Once you have crossed the river, you can either move sideways or go straight forward, 1 square for each move, but you can't go back.
  • Capture: When the piece moves to a position. standing on the opponent's piece, the opponent's piece is eaten and removed from the board.
  • Anti-champion: 2 generals on the board must not be on the same vertical column but there is no block in the middle. The move to leave 2 generals in the anti-champion position is not valid.

  • Checking: Any move that causes the opponent's Champion to be eaten on the next move.
  • Competitor: 1 piece moves to a position where it can capture pieces. same type of opponent and then that piece can also be captured if the opponent wants.
  • Chasing: 1 piece moves to a position where it can. Capture an opponent's piece (except a General) in the next move. Or a move that makes a Cannon to check on the opponent's piece.
  • Protected piece: A chased piece is called a guard if the opponent's chaser eats it. could be eaten again in the next country. Except that the Rook is never called protected when it is chased by an enemy Cannon or Horse.

The law of chess allows to limit one side to draw or expel 6 consecutive moves with one piece, 12 consecutive moves with 2 pieces and 18 consecutive moves with 3 pieces. If the limit is exceeded, the advanced rule will apply.
