Windroy (also known as Windroye) is a useful tool to help you launch all the apps and games in your Android smartphone on your PC very conveniently, quickly and smoothly.
The main interface of the software running Android applications on PC Windroy
Currently, there are many software and programs on the market that allow users to run Android on PC. However, not all of them are able to meet the needs of users and bring stability to the PC. Immediately try Windroy - a great tool for everyone. It will help you to launch all the apps and games in your Android smartphone on your PC very conveniently.
Other very fast and lightweight Android emulators you'll probably want to check out are: Nox APP Player and Droid4X.
Windroy relies on virtualization technology, providing excellent application compatibility, with Android 4.4.2. The latest version of Windroy helps you save screenshots to Pictures folder, good support for Windows 10 OS, 120 dpi support and improved screen shake.
Windroy emulates Android relatively well on Windows, when compared to BlueStacks, I don't dare say which is better, but I find the speed and smoothness of Windroy, operations on Windroy just like when you handle it on a smartphone, an Android tablet.
Example: To install an application, you will go to the Google Play Store (pre-installed), type the name of the software, the application you want to install, then install, launch as usual. To delete an application, you just need to hold your mouse over its icon, click on the red X icon like on a smartphone.
After testing BlueStacks but not much interest, Windroy really made me feel excited. If you need to experience classic Android games on Windows, then give Windroy a chance. It certainly won't let you down.
When you download and install Windroy 2.8.2a, although the language is selected as English, it only shows English when you install it, and when you enter the main interface, it's all Chinese. It's okay if you know Chinese, but it's like looking at a mess if you're "blind" to the language. Please follow the steps below to change this default language.
From the main interface, click on the settings wheel icon:
In the next window that appears, scroll down and find the text with the leading A symbol, circled as shown below:
You click on the first item of the window that appears:
Next scroll down to choose your preferred language, English or Vietnamese:
Download Windroy and install it normally following the on-screen instructions. When the installation is complete, double click on the Windroye icon on the desktop to launch the application.
After you install Windroy and switch languages, click on the Google Play Store icon to find and install the app.
Windroy will ask you to add a Google account or create a new one. Select Existing if you already have one, or Create New to add a new Google account. Here we choose Existing.
Before entering your account, you should turn off Vietnamese typing on your PC so as not to lose words. If you use Unikey, just press the shortcut key combination Ctrl Shift.
In the Login interface that appears, enter your email address and password. Make sure it's the email address you use to sign in to the Google Play Store on your own Android smartphone.
Press OK to agree to the Google Terms and continue.
Waiting for Windroy to login to Google
Due to security reasons Google does not allow login through non-Google applications, Windroy will display the following error message, you select Next to make Windroy open the browser, you enter your email and password again.
After entering your account for the second time, wait for the application to log in, the following window will appear, you will be able to leave a check mark to update news from Google or remove the check mark and then press Next. Then accept Google's terms again to move to the app store.
This login process you only have to do once (unless you uninstall Windroy and reinstall it) when you go to the Google Play Store for the first time. Next time you just open Windroy and go to Google Play Store normally, no need to log in.
For now, just download the game.
In the Google Play Store interface, click the search icon (magnifying glass) and enter the name of the application you want to download.
Browse the app you want to download and tap.
Click Install to download Clash of Clans and install
Wait a moment for Windroy to download and install the game. Click Open when the installation is complete.
Windroye is loading the game. After loading, there will be a message saying: Clash of Clans is free to play, but you will be able to speed up the work in the game thanks to things purchased with real money purchase. You will be able to turn this off in the settings. And also need more than 13 years old to play the game. (In general, just press Okay).
Clash of Clans game interface on Windroye emulator.
The testing process is started on Windows 8.1, Windroy version 2.8.2a, 4GB RAM. Playing Clash of Clans is completely smooth, while the computer has many other apps open. If you have any problems when you install Windroy, just comment below, I will try to support.
1. After the installation is complete, when booting only appears black screen. You turn off, restart Windroy, if not, delete all and reinstall is OK.
2. When syncing your Google account can take a while, look at the network connection again. If the network is OK, you can turn it off and restart Windroy.
3. Can't load the app in Google Play, looks at the network connection. If the network is OK, turn off Windroy and restart. If you can't remove it, delete all the data and reinstall it.
In general, in a few dozen times of uninstalling and reinstalling to capture a complete clip, the above errors are only encountered occasionally.
4. Brothers using Windows XP may make this mistake
Android.exe - Entry Point Not Found: The procedure entry GetTickCount64 could bot be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll
The fix is to upgrade to Windows 7 or higher, because Windroy is not compatible with Win XP.
5. The machine is frozen: With a 32-bit system, RAM should be more than 2GB, then when using the emulator applications, your new machine will not lag. For 64-bit systems and the latest versions of Windows, it is recommended that you install Windroy on a machine with at least 4GB of RAM.
Good luck!
