In the previous version, the Content-Aware Fill function still maintains the original frame and does not handle the changing light, so it accidentally creates an unreal shadow. When you turn on the light processing option, they will be more vivid and natural.

New line parameter in shape layer
When drawing a stroke on the shape layer, you will be able to use the new parameters - Taper and Wave to create wavy, pointed or rounded lines. You'll be able to enrich the thickness of shape strokes, edit line taper, and animate them to form novel graphic elements and more impressive shapes.
Concentric Shape Repeater
The Offset Shape Effect has 2 new parameters:
Generate geometric patterns and concentric shape copies using these parameters. You'll be able to use them to create retro and mandala-style designs.
ProRes RAW import support
After Effects now offers the ability to import and edit Apple ProRes RAW media files on properly configured systems.
Copy media to a shared location
When using Team Projects, you will be able to copy project media files to a shared location such as an available online storage, Adobe Creative Cloud or Dropbox folder for multiple people to access.
Enable cloud document collaboration
Create multiple copies of projects and collaborate on shared progress while working remotely.

Improve preview and playback performance
The After Effects 2020 preview playback experience is sharper and faster. You'll also be able to take advantage of the new GPU-accelerated rendering system core to view seamless, precise blueprints without stopping the creative flow. GPU Import and Export enhances preview performance and provides a more detailed, detailed project viewer in real time.
Improve EXR Process
You will now be able to import EXR (OpenEXR Bitmap) files as a work in After Effects to make processing them faster. Importing EXR files lets you apply multiple effects to component layers without having to go through the first complicated setup process. You will be able to work with each layer and apply effects so that the import and export of images are more natural in their environment. Increased performance also makes processing large files more responsive.
Faster shaping
After Effects 2020 improves responsiveness when handling shapes to speed up iterative creative steps. Improved access to group controls also makes it easier to navigate and manage large numbers of shapes.
Improve the overall performance of projects containing multiple shape layers
Users can now right-click to create or ungroup shape layers. Select multiple shapes in the Timeline panel, right-click and select group/ungroup shapes. Another option to select multiple shapes in the preview window is to right click and from the link Mask and Shape use Group/Ungroup.
Upgraded graphics and text
Dropdown Menu Control Effect
When creating Motion Graphics templates, you will now be able to use the Dropdown Menu Control effect to append the properties of a class in your project to a drop-down list. You'll now be able to share sliders and checkboxes as editable controls, allowing others to change their properties in Premiere Pro.
Edit text attributes with expressions
For expressions that don't change over time, After Effects applies them to all frames at once with up to 40% faster processing speed. Expressions applied to the main property also work significantly faster.
Extended format support and better playback
Format support includes Canon XF-HEVC and 2 older formats. Animate with delta frames and MJPEG. Performance improvements for H.265 HD/UHD, HEVC HD/UHD, ProRes 10-bit files.
