Clanfolk is a life simulation adventure game complex and challenging life, set in the highlands of medieval Scotland. In the game, you have the task of finding a way to live and develop your settlement (Clan). Each tile on the map has a purpose and where you settle and how you build it will play a very important role. The greatest threat to your Clan will be nature itself. Mind you, food will be plentiful at first and nights will be warm, but as the seasons change, resources will run out and careful planning becomes important. Surviving the first winter may not be easy…
You have a task to find a way to live and develop your settlement
Choose where to start your farm, in a wild land surrounded by mountains, forests, grasslands and lakes. Over time, you will be able to develop it into an industrial farm, livestock farm, bustling trading post, or a quiet forest inn, or maybe a fortress hidden in the mountains. Create unique structures, use fire to light up rooms and dissipate heat to neighboring buildings, till the ground, harvest and tend livestock.

From birth to death, your clan will live a lifetime through generations. They will follow a daily schedule, waking up before sunrise, having breakfast, bathing, dressing and chatting before the day begins. During the day, they would work as hard as their mood and health allowed, and in the evening, they would come back together to eat, drink, and sleep before a new day began. Consider the needs and moods of the people and nurture your clan through many life stages.
Occasionally, visitors from neighboring clans around will come to the settlement
Occasionally, visitors from nearby clans will come to your settlement. Over time, your reputation with these clans may grow based on how they are treated as guests, workers or merchants. Each neighboring clan comes from a strange new biome that holds all sorts of different products and items to expect to trade. Gamers can run a profitable trade if there is enough trading volume.
