PhotoFiltre is a free image editor for users using Windows computers. It is a great alternative to Photoshop when users want something simpler and easier to use.
This is actually a pretty lightweight application and unlike Photoshop, it installs and boots extremely quickly. Initially, you will see an interface that contains all the features and customizations, which can be confusing for users at first glance.
PhotoFiltre 7 is a comprehensive image editing software. It allows the user to alter the image and apply a variety of artistic filters to it. PhotoFiltre 7 is simple and easy to use. The toolbar provides standard filters, which the user can connect with just a few clicks of the mouse. In addition, PhotoFiltre 7 also supports layer management, advanced brushes, batch modules and many other powerful tools.
Multiple filters of PhotoFiltre 7 helps newcomers familiarize themselves with the world of graphics. You will be able to find basic editing features here like (brightness, contrast, tint, saturation, gamma correction) along with many other artistic filters (watercolor, pastel, ink, etc.) pointillism, squares…).
PhotoFiltre 7 uses 2 vector selections. The first type uses automatic shapes (rectangle, ellipse, triangle, rhombus, rectangle, circle). The second type corresponds to lasso and polygon. Both allow to adjust the shape by letting the user draw or select an existing line. Each selection can be saved as a separate file for later use.
PhotoFiltre 7 not only has standard brushes (circles and squares with different sizes), but also includes other novel brush strokes like oblique lines, custom shapes…).
Rainbow option allows the user to draw a ramp along the line. Effects like 3D, Pastel, Charcoal are also available.
Each image has its own Layer Frame with 3 size options:
PhotoFiltre 7 can handle 7 layer types:
Some Drop Shadow options are also available in Bitmap & Text mode
This option allows users Use fill colors or draw strokes to create vector shapes automatically. This feature is extremely useful when users want to create diagrams. For example, Line Tool with 1-way or 2-way arrow keys.
Eraser is especially effective when you need to manually draw an area. This tool can be used as a brush. PhotoFiltre 7 erases the selection, making the mesh areas visible (Transparent or RGBA mode) or lower layer areas (multilayer mode).
With this module, user can animate Enhance contour quality and clarity on images with built-in preset masks. These masks are grayscale images, where white is a transparent color, while opacity enhances the gray to become darker. Through PhotoMasque, users can create their own masks.
Setting Transparent mode as layer allows the user to have the original outline because the filter edits the Alpha channel, not the image layer. This technique can be used when converting images into RGBA mode.
PhotoFiltre 7 allows users to create 32x32, 48x48, 64x64 icons. All color formats are available, but some versions of Windows do not support PhotoFiltre 7 modes.
Users can add , delete selections with Ctrl or Alt key. However, it doesn't work in Bitmap or Vectorial mode.
Module Image Explorer provides a toolbar, allowing users to quickly access predefined folders (selection, mask, pattern…).
